Discover the Kleinwalsertal

You can already see it on our website. We love green and white. Because that's probably the best way to describe our beautiful Kleinwalsertal in Vorarlberg, between Germany and Austria. Everything is green here in summer and white in winter. And in the months in between? Then the valley is colourful and always worth a visit.

Winter

Over 2000 metres of skiing fun at all levels of difficulty. 48 lifts - with a single ski pass - take you to around 130 km of pistes on the Ifen, Walmendingerhorn, Fellhorn and Kanzelwand. However, the charming winter landscape also invites you to go hiking on the approx. 50 km of prepared hiking trails, on ski tours and snowshoe hikes, to go tobogganing, cross-country skiing or Nordic walking in winter.

Summer

Explore lush alpine meadows under a cobalt blue mountain sky. Accompanied by the cheerful ringing of cowbells. The Oswalda Hus is located in the centre of the legendary Walser nature kingdom. The most beautiful and largest hiking and climbing paradises on this side of the Alps are just a few steps away from the house. In addition, a colourful cultural and event programme, convivial evenings in our mountain huts or sunrise tours for romantics await you.

Spring

In spring, when the last snow has melted, the young flowers sprout in our meadows. The still fresh air mixes with the warming rays of the sun. The meltwater flowing down the streams is clear and still fresh. Take a deep breath. Enjoy the marvellous spring scenery that Kleinwalsertal has to offer.

Autumn

Peace returns. Autumn awakens. The colourful season in the mountains is full of natural spectacles and attractions. The highlight of this time of year is definitely the cattle drive. The young cattle are driven down from the Alps and in the valley the shepherds celebrate the mountain summer.
